Pray

Prayer is not our "last resort;" rather, it is our first and highest effort. Mission Shawnee needs your prayers. Pray daily for the leadership team (Andrea, Cheryl, Bob), and for the Directors (click link to the left). Pray that God would see to the approval of our tax exempt status. Pray that God would guide in the design of this ministry. Pray that God would stir the hearts of believers throughout Shawnee to join in this ministry. Pray now that many of the lost in Shawnee would come to know Jesus, the Good Shepherd, as Savior and Lord.

Volunteer

Working Together, Sharing God's Love is more than just a motto. It is a method of ministry. It takes all of us praying, working, and giving to meet the needs before us.

Much needs to be done. Here are some ways you can help by vounteering your time and talents:

• Shepherd's Club (Currently at Chapel Ridge only, but soon to be open in other apartment complexes)
• Office assistance: volunteer counselors, records clerks, and a part-time bookkeeper.
• Drivers: a daily rotation of drivers for persons seeking jobs, getting to work, going to the doctor, or for special programs and ministies.

Your financial support is needed. The funds you share do not simply become "handouts." They are part of an overall strategy to address physical, spiritual, and social needs of people.
